About FlightsTaken

FlightsTaken is a logbook for the flights you have actually taken — and a way to make keeping one worth the effort.

Logging should take seconds

Type a flight number and a date. We look up the airline, the route, the aircraft and the times. You add your cabin and seat. That is it.

We calculate the distance, always

We never ask you how far you flew. Every distance is the great-circle distance between the two airports, computed from their coordinates. That is what keeps statistics comparable between one member and the next.

Verified and unverified flights

When we can match your flight number and date against real flight data, the entry is marked verified. Flights we cannot match — including anything old enough to predate the data — still count, but stay marked unverified so leaderboards mean something.

Your data is yours

Profiles are public by default because sharing is half the point, but you can make your whole profile private, or hide individual flights, whenever you like.
